DISCUSSION:
New sections regarding the treatment of property as a resource for MHABD programs has been added to the December 1973 Eligibility Requirements manual.
- Sections 1030.027.00 Other Property as an Available Resource, 1030.027.05 Mineral Rights, 1030.027.10 Timber Rights, 1030.027.15 Easements, 1030.027.20 Leaseholds, 1030.027.25 Water Rights, 1030.027.30 Life Estates, 1030.027.35 Remainder Interests have been added to define the different types of other property and when they may be treated as income, resources or both.

- Review this memorandum with appropriate staff.
