Enter the resources and income of participants not meeting the ABAWD work requirement in the eligibility system. This is to ensure the resources and income are considered in making the budget and resource determinations.  The eligibility system includes all the participant’s income and expenses, less a pro rata share, and includes all their resources. Utility standards are not prorated even if the participant is not complying with the ABAWD work requirement is responsible for the expense.

If a household member is identified as an ABAWD and is ineligible due to the time limit, the household’s categorical eligibility status is not affected if all of the remaining household members members receive Temporary Assistance, SSI, SAB, or SP benefits, or any remaining household members are authorized to receive special support services.

Note: Enter the appropriate status on the Categorically Eligible screen for those household members who    receive Community Partnership (CPS) and Supplemental Payment (SAP) services, as these statuses are not completed systematically.
