IM-115  07/27/00  RESIDENCE COUNTY FIELD ON IMU5

SUBJECT:
RESIDENCE COUNTY FIELD ON IMU5

DISCUSSION:
In order to rectify certain managed care issues, it became necessary to complete the residence county field on IAPP for all C7 and C8 cases in March 1999.  To further rectify these issues, as well as certain phone center issues, it is now necessary to complete the residence county field on IAPP for all C and R (including General Relief) type of assistance applications.  An entry is required even if the residence county is the same as the pay county.  An entry in field 10C (Change Date) is required when a new county number is entered in field 10B (Residence County).

During the weekend of July 29, 2000 Data Processing will systematically update Field 10B (residence county) of the IMU5 with the pay county number for all active and pending C and R cases which did not have any entry.  Effective July 31, 2000 IAPP will require a residence county for all C, R, K and X types of assistance.  The residence county will appear on IPAR and ICAS.

NECESSARY ACTION:
  • Effective immediately enter the residence county on IAPP for all C and R types of applications.

  •
  • Enter the move date on the IMU5 (Field 10C) when there is a change in residence county.
