QP-1 TEMP ELIGIBILITY DETERMINATION FORMS MANUAL REVISION #1
 
DISCUSSION:
Qualified TEMP Providers were notified that Medicaid for families and pregnant women is now referred to as MC+.  The QP-1 has been revised to reflect this change.

Notice was sent to Qualified TEMP Providers advising when an applicant is only covered under Extended Women's Health Services, a TEMP determination is appropriate.  Providers will now have to determine if the applicant's coverage is limited to women's health services. 

Upon receipt of a TEMP determination on an active EWHS recipient, enter the TEMP eligibility.  An MC+ for Pregnant Women application should be registered as an R2 case.  If approved for MPW, close the EWHS case.

  • Review this memorandum with appropriate staff.

  • File the revised QP-1 in the Forms Manual.

  • Incorporate this information in any TEMP training you provide.
