Effective June 1, 2000, the online FISU
and FEX2 screens and the IM-106B form are revised to remove obsolete information
and to accommodate changes due to Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT).
FISU SCREEN CHANGES:
-
The issuance codes of D, E, F, J and L are
no longer available for use in the "Reason Issued" field. If an incorrect
issuance code is entered, an online edit appears to remind staff that another
code must be selected.
-
The address field in FISU is removed.
-
A new field is added entitled "County Address
used for Benefit Security Card/Pin". An entry of either "Y" or "N"
is required. A note is added below the statement to remind staff
an entry in this field WILL NOT update EBTU or the Administrative Terminal.
-
The "Moved Up Amount" is removed as the combined
allotment policy is not in effect in Missouri.
-
The "Amount of Stamps" field is changed to
allow entry of both dollars and cents. This is applicable for county
replacement of food stamp benefits using the IM-110 and reason code "K"
issuance code or when State Office receives an IM-113 and determines replacement
of benefits is appropriate.
FEX2 SCREEN CHANGES:
-
The address field is removed.
-
We added a line "County Address used for Benefit
Security" Card/Pin? If "Y" worker must update EBTU." A "Y"
or "N" entry is required. If the answer to the question is "yes",
the worker has to update EBTU changing the mailing address from "C", residential
address to "O", county office address.
-
The question for certified mail is removed.
-
The question for county mailing is removed.
-
The FS-1, Appendix A, instructions are revised
to reflect changes made to remove the address information from FEX2. EBT
language is also incorporated.
IM-106B FORM CHANGES:
PART II, TERMINAL ENTRY DATA
-
The address and reason fields in this section
are changed to be consistent with the FISU screen revisions.
PART III, TRANSACTION RESPONSE:
-
A new category "Override Requested" is added
for staff to use when State Office is called and completes an override.

to reflect changes and updates completed for the FISU screen.
