In an effort to ensure the correct worker
and load numbers are in the Legacy system for food stamp conversion to
FAMIS, IM-105/FSU5 field 40 is changed from "Edit Load" to "Backup Worker."
It is imperative to have correct worker and load number information in
the Legacy system at the time of conversion to FAMIS. It will create
more work for staff at the time of conversion if the correct worker and
load numbers are not in the Legacy system.
IM-105/FSU5 Field 40 Effective June 1, 2000, enter the five-digit worker number assigned to the individual updating the case information in the "Backup Worker" field.
EXAMPLE: Hattie Jones, worker 88888,
is assigned case number 12345678 and her load number is 00001. In
Hattie's absence, Janice Brown, worker number 77777, updates case number
12345678 on February 15, 2000. Enter 88888 in the "Worker" portion
of FSU5 field 40 and 77777 in the "Backup Worker" portion of field 40.
EXAMPLE: On February 28, Hattie Jones
updates case number 12345678. Enter 88888 in the "Worker" portion
of field 40 and 88888 in the "Backup Worker" portion of field 40.
Unassigned Caseloads During the time a caseload is not assigned to a specific worker, for example when a worker leaves the agency and a new worker has not been assigned to the caseload, use "99999" in field 40-Worker. Enter the number of the worker completing the transaction in the "Backup Worker" field. Production Report The monthly production report is changed to reflect any transactions entered by a worker not assigned to a caseload. The "Backup Worker" field has been added to the Production Report and will show the worker number of the individual who entered the transaction if it is not the worker assigned to the caseload. |
