DISCUSSION:
The Food Stamp Manual, Income Section, is revised to change references from the Job Training Partnership Act (JTPA) to the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 (WIA).  This change is based on Section 199 (c) of the WIA which states that all references in provision of law to a provision of the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act (CETA) or JTPA should refer to the corresponding provision of the WIA.
 
NECESSARY ACTION:
  • · Review this memorandum with necessary staff. 
  • · File the revised manual pages.
