FOOD STAMP DISREGARD OF TEMPORARY CENSUS INCOME
 
DISCUSSION:
Staff is reminded that the waiver allowing the exclusion of temporary census earnings when determining eligibility and benefit amount for the Food Stamp Program expired December 31, 2000.  Any earnings from temporary census employment after December 31, 2000, must be included as earned income.
 
NECESSARY ACTION:
  • Review this memorandum with appropriate staff.
  •  Budget temporary census income received after December 31, 2000.
