OBSOLETE STATEMENT ADMITTING PATERNITY (IM-26)

DISCUSSION:
The purpose of this memorandum is to make obsolete the Statement Admitting Paternity (IM-26). 

Currently, The Affidavit Acknowledging Paternity (VS-465) is used to allow a parent to voluntarily acknowledge paternity for a child born in Missouri.  With the implementation of this form, the IM-26 is obsolete.

Upon receipt of this memorandum discontinue the use of the IM-26.
 
NECESSARY ACTION:
  • Immediately discontinue the use of the IM-26.
  • Destroy any existing supply of the IM-26.
  • Remove the IM-26 from the Forms Manual.
  • Remove the IM-26 instructions from the Forms Manual.
