DISCUSSION:
Effective May 1, 2001, two codes are added to the living arrangement codes for food stamps.  The new codes are to identify migrant and seasonal farm workers in the FSU5 system. 

Begin using the new codes for any migrant and seasonal farm worker households when the FSU5 is next updated.  No longer use code TR for those households.  The new living arrangement codes are as follows:

The FSU5 instructions are revised to reflect the addition of these codes.
 
NECESSARY ACTION:
  • Review this memorandum with all appropriate staff.
  • Begin using the new living arrangement codes at the next update for households that are migrant and seasonal farm worker households.
