- "THE WORK NUMBER" WEBSITE CHANGE
DISCUSSION:
On, Wednesday, October 8, 2008, "The Work Number" website changed when requesting verification of employment for individuals. This change was made to make it easier for users to request multiple verifications at one time. Users are now able to enter a SSN and see a summary of all the employment verifications that are on "The Work Number" for that SSN. From there, users can select which verifications they would like to view. All verifications selected will be available on one page. Users can use the scroll bar to move down the page to view each verification. Users can print the verification for their records. Attached is "How to" instructions which explains the changes for requesting verification
If a user is unable to access (log into) "The Work Number", the user must contact Central Office, IM Program and Policy Section at 573/526-4836.
If a user has problems/concerns with the changes to the website or with the employment/income information provided by “The Work Number”, the user must call “The Work Number” Customer Service Center at 1-800-996-7566. Representatives are available Monday through Friday, 7:00 am till 8:00 pm, CST.
NECESSARY ACTION:
- Review this memorandum with appropriate staff.
