MEMORANDUM

DISCUSSION:

The IM-4 METP, Food Stamp Work Registration pamphlet is revised. Changes to the pamphlet include:

• changing the title of the pamphlet from "Food Stamps and Work" to "Food Stamp Work Registration",
• adding the penalties for METP non-compliance,
• notifying the participant to contact their eligibility specialist if they are unable to keep their METP appointment, and
• changing caseworker to eligibility specialist.

The IM-4 METP, Food Stamp Work Registration pamphlet may be obtained from the warehouse using normal ordering procedures. Upon receipt of the revised pamphlet (01/09), destroy/recycle all previous versions.

The pamphlet will be available on the Department of Social Services Internet site at https://dss.mo.gov/fsd/fstamp/index.htm.

The pamphlet will also be available on the Intranet. To access the PDF version and/or instructions,

• go to Family Support Division (FSD) Intranet site,
• select Food Stamps,
• under Forms select Forms Manual from the drop-down list,
• select Volume 1, and
• select PDF IM-4 METP Food Stamp Work Registration pamphlet or instructions.

An initial supply of the revised IM-4 METP, Food Stamp Work Registration pamphlet is being sent to the county offices. Upon receipt, destroy/recycle all versions prior to 01/09.
