DISCUSSION:
The chart Manually Calculating A Food Stamp Budget has been revised. This chart assists staff in explaining the method and process used to calculate a Food Stamp budget in determining eligibility to applicants, participants, hearing unit staff and local contacts. The first column has been expanded so that the budget figures can be entered and the net income can be manually calculated. Also, the shelter calculation description has been simplified.
To access Manually Calculating A Food Stamp Budget:
- From the FSD Intranet page, click Food Stamps on the left side; and
- Under Tools/Guides on the left side, click Manually Calculating A Food Stamp Budget or
- Under Quick Links on the right side, click IM Chart ; then
- Click on Manually Calculating A Food Stamp Budget.
