- FAMIS BIRTH/DEATH INFORMATION (FMAQ or BIRTH) SCREEN CHANGES
DISCUSSION:
As a result of suggestions from Quality Control and field staff, effective August 10, 2009, changes will be made to the Birth/Death Information (FMAQ or BIRTH) screen to allow users to view birth or death information for individuals who are no longer members of a Supercase. Staff may enter only a DCN and obtain the information for the individual. The SCN is no longer required.
- To view by DCN, either press the F10=CLEAR key, or space over the SCN shown on the screen, and then type or paste the DCN.
- If staff wish to prompt on the DCN field, the SCN field is required. The screen displays the error message “AA008_BE: Mandatory Fields Have Not Been Entered.” if the SCN is not entered when prompting for the DCN.
- While in the controlled flow, the SCN and DCN fields remain protected.
After MO HealthNet for the Aged, Blind, and Disabled (MHABD) implementation, similar changes will be made to other screens in FAMIS. As these changes are made, staff will be notified.
