- SSI/SSA/VA/RR COST OF LIVING ADJUSTMENT IN FAMIS
DISCUSSION:
Due to no cost of living adjustment (COLA) for Social Security Administration (SSA), Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Veterans Administration (VA), and Railroad Retirement (RR) participants, a mass adjustment was not completed in FAMIS in December, 2009 for January, 2010.
Staff must review all BENDEX/SDX reports to ensure the correct amount of SSA/SSI and SMI premiums are being budgeted for all programs. BENDEX/SDX reports are considered verified upon receipt for Food Stamp EUs subject to simplified reporting rules.
NECESSARY ACTION:
- Review this memorandum with appropriate staff.
