- MHABD REVIEWS IN FAMIS, UPDATES TO COMPLETING A TEMPORARY ASSISTANCE/MO HEALTHNET REVIEW IN FAMIS USER GUIDE AND RENAMING OF FA202 AND FA402
DISCUSSION:
Effective March 21, 2010, MO HealthNet for the Aged, Blind and Disabled (MHABD) reviews can be completed in FAMIS. Eligibility factors for MO HealthNet for the Aged Blind and Disabled (MHABD) have been added to the TA/MA Review History (FM57/REINVEST) screen. The process for completing or creating a review has not changed with the addition of MHABD.
The Completing a Temporary Assistance/Medical Assistance Review in FAMIS has been updated to include MHABD.
The Temporary Assistance Eligibility Review Form (FA202) and MO HealthNet Eligibility Review Information (FA402) forms are renamed based on a suggestion received from Family Support Division (FSD) field staff. The name change from reinvestigation to review helps to identify the purpose of the form and is more customer-friendly. The goal is to encourage participants to complete and return forms in a timely manner. Timely completion and return of review forms reduces the potential for loss or interruption in benefits.
The Temporary Assistance and MO HealthNet Manual revisions are being sent in a separate memorandum to incorporate the change in wording from reinvestigation to review.
