RESEARCH AND EVALUATION DATA REQUESTS

DISCUSSION:

Effective immediately, a liaison has been designated for FSD Income Maintenance and Research and Evaluation (R&E) Unit of the Department of Social Services. All data requests for Income Maintenance to R&E must first be sent to the Income Maintenance Program and Policy (IMP&P) Unit at Rachel.E.Traver@dss.mo.gov. IMP&P staff will determine if the data is already available online or in existing reports. If the information is not already available, the request will be assigned a priority level, logged for tracking, and submitted to R&E.

To assist staff in making the request, the Research and Evaluation Request form is developed. Staff must complete this form in its entirety, providing as much detailed information as possible and any accompanying documents that will help R&E understand exactly what data is needed. The Research and Evaluation Request form will be available through D:FSForms, or can be downloaded from the Forms Manual, Volume II.
