PAYMENT ACCURACY TRAINING

DISCUSSION:

Training to assist staff in Food Stamp payment accuracy has been developed and is available in the Employee Learning Center (ELC).

The available trainings include:

These training modules must be completed by all eligibility specialist and eligibility supervisor staff by December 1, 2010, then again once every three years. The ELC will track compliance with this requirement and notify supervisors and managers of any individuals who need to complete the trainings.

The training can be taken more often than once every 3 years if ES or supervisory staff feel there is a need for a reminder on policy. Other Income Maintenance staff may also complete this training as needed. Follow normal procedures for enrolling and completing online training, or enrolling staff for the training.
