DISCUSSION:
Section 0320.000.00 of the Temporary Assistance (TA) manual has been revised to clarify the transaction code to be used on the Claim Payment Transmittal (CARS-2) form by the eligibility specialist when a claim needs to be terminated. The eligibility specialist should use the code “22-Write-Off”. They should not use Code 11 or Code 12 as previously instructed.
