DISCUSSION:
The process for completing or creating a Temporary Assistance (TA) review has not changed with the addition of MHABD eligibility factors to the TA/MA/FS Review History (FM57/REINVEST) screen. IM Memorandum IM- #19 dated 03-19-2010 explains eligibility factors for MO HealthNet for the Aged Blind and Disabled (MHABD) are added to the TA/MA/FS Review History (FM57/REINVEST) screen.
The Temporary Assistance/Case Management manual is revised to incorporate the change of wording from reinvestigation to review.
The following sections are revised in the Temporary Assistance/Case Management Manual:
- 0220.015.00 Temporary
Assistance Reviews
- Situations that complete a Temporary Assistance (TA) review; and
- Cancel close when the Temporary Assistance Eligibility Review Form (FA202) form is received in the same month the review is due but after the TA case is closed for failure to complete and return a review form.
- 0220.015.05 Possible
Review/Change in Circumstances
- Explains when certain changes in circumstances necessitate a complete review of the Temporary Assistance (TA) case and when a Temporary Assistance Eligibility Review Form (FA202) is necessary to complete a review.
