- MISSOURI WORK ASSISTANCE (MWA) PROGRAM SERVICE PROVIDER CHANGE
DISCUSSION:
Effective immediately, stop referring Temporary Assistance (TA) applicants and participants to the current Missouri Work Assistance (MWA) program service providers.
Effective October 1, 2010, the Missouri Work Assistance (MWA) program will have new contracts and several new service providers. The eligibility specialist should inform TA applicants that if they are approved for TA, beginning October 1, 2010 they need to cooperate with the new provider for the MWA program.
The MWA service provider listing available on the FSD Intranet under the Resource Links tab of the Temporary Assistance section will be updated soon to include the new service providers. A memorandum will be sent once this information is available. Please provide TA applicants and participants with the updated listing at next contact. The new providers will be reaching out to current TA participants in their respective areas to notify them of the provider change.
NECESSARY ACTION:
- Review this memorandum with appropriate staff.
- Stop referring TA applicants and participants to current MWA service providers.
- Provide TA applicants and participants with updated MWA service provider list.
