PROGRAM IMPROVEMENT PLAN (PIP) TRAINING

DISCUSSION:

The Program Improvement Plan (PIP) identifies program deficiencies or problem areas and actions to correct those problems. PIPs are used for all program types. Additional information concerning PIP is outlined in Income Maintenance Memorandum IM-49 dated July 20, 2010.

The Program Improvement Plan (PIP) training is developed and ready for use. The training is for administrative staff including County Managers and Family Support Division Eligibility Specialist Supervisors. The training will be conducted by Policy Liaisons. Regional Administrators will coordinate training dates and times. The training will be sent to the Policy Liaisons who will begin the training of administrative staff.

The WORD version of the Program Improvement Plan (PIP) form and instructions are available in electronic format only on the Intranet in the Forms Manual and D:\FSFORMS. This form will not be available from the warehouse.
