DISCUSSION:
Sections 0205.060.35 & 0210.015.50 of the Temporary Assistance (TA) manual are revised to clarify the sanctioning policy. Sections 0210.015.52 and 0210.015.55 are added to the TA manual.
The following are changes in Section 0210.015.50:
- References to the first, second, third and subsequent sanctions is removed for failing to comply with work activities.
- Good cause reasons for non-cooperation have been added.
- An outline is incorporated in the manual to show the steps Toolbox 2.0 and FAMIS take when an individual fails to cooperate with work activities and the duties of the eligibility specialist.
The requirement for a face-to-face interview before sanctioning for failing to comply with Child Support is removed in Section 0205.060.35.
Section 0210.015.52 Good Cause for Missouri Work Assistance (MWA) and Section 0210.015.55 Compliance with Work Requirement are added to the TA manual.
