DISCUSSION:

The Medicare Buy-In Unit has a new email address:  MHD.Buyin@dss.mo.gov.  All buy-in related issues for Missouri participants should be sent to this email address.

The purpose of this email address is to create a centralized location for Eligibility Specialists, Supervisors, County Managers, other FSD employees, MHD employees, etc., to send their emails to when someone’s buy-in needs to be started, restarted, checked, or ended.

The Income Maintenance Policy Manual section 0865.015.05 has been updated to include the email address and the purpose of the email address.  Please continue to follow any local or regional procedure currently being used such as supervisory review or approval prior to contact with the buy-in unit.
