DISCUSSION:
The MO HealthNet for Aged, Blind and Disabled (MHABD) manual has been updated to reflect MO HealthNet (MHN) program name changes and terminology.
Division of Medical Services has been changed to MO HealthNet Division. Medicaid has been changed to MO HealthNet.
The Medicare Part A and QMB Chart has also been updated to reflect coinsurance and deductible amounts for 2012.
The IM-4 QMB and the IM-4 QMB-A Pamphlets have been updated to include the following changes:
- Medicaid has been changed to MO HealthNet;
- Division of Family Services has been changed to Family Support Division;
- Caseworker has been changed to Eligibility Specialist;
- Division of Medical Services has been changed to MO HealthNet Division;
- Recipient Services has been changed to Participant Services;
- Current monthly income and resource limits;
- Information about SLMB-3 has been removed;
- Clarification of QMB start date was added;
- The Department of Social Services Website address was added to options to obtain a QMB application.
The revised IM-4 QMB and IM-4 QMB-A pamphlets have been posted to the intranet and added to the forms manual. IM-4 QMB and IM-4 QMB-A pamphlets with revision dates prior to 01/12 are obsolete and should be destroyed/recycled. The revised pamphlets can be ordered from the warehouse using normal ordering procedures.
NECESSARY ACTION:
- Review this memorandum with appropriate staff.
- Destroy /recycle IM-4 QMB and IM-4 QMB-A pamphlets with a revision date prior to 01/12.
