DISCUSSION:
The Income Maintenance manual section listed above has been updated to bring MO HealthNet for the Aged, Blind, and Disabled (MHABD) policy into compliance with 13 CSR 40-2.030(8) Definitions Relating to Real and Personal Property and the Medicaid State Plan. A MHABD applicant or participant may own more than one burial plot. The value of burial plots is exempt from consideration as an available resource, whether their intended use is for the applicant/participant or immediate family member or someone else. This manual section has also been revised to include FAMIS processes.
