DISCUSSION:
Effective June 28, 2011 the Missouri Work Assistance (MWA) System was available for agencies contracted to provide case management services to Temporary Assistance participants. These agencies work with individuals who are required or volunteer to participate in work activities.
A user guide is now available in the Temporary Assistance manual via the Internet for contractor staff and the Intranet for Family Support Division (FSD) staff.
FSD staff has 'view only' access to information displayed in the MWA System. The user guide explains the information displayed on the screens.
The MWA System should be accessed to clarify information displayed on the INTRFACE screen (FMK0) or to obtain contact information for the case manager working with the participant.
ACCESSING THE MWA SYSTEM USER GUIDE
To access the MWA System User Guide:
Go to the Temporary Assistance Manual on the FSD employee Intranet,
Select 'Case Management' at the top of the Table of Contents,
Scroll down to the last item on the Table of Contents page, which is the 'MWA System User Guide' and click on the link.
Online training will soon be available to FSD staff regarding accessing the MWA System and navigating in the system. A separate memorandum will be issued when the training becomes available.
