DISCUSSION:
The purpose of this memo is to announce the availability of a new resource, Missouri Disability Benefits 101, developed by the Missouri Planning Council for Developmental Disabilities.
Two user-friendly DB101 Calculators are available to assist customers with disabilities who are seeking employment or changing jobs. The planning calculators display how benefit rules might apply to the customer's situation, which will help customers make informed decisions before changing their employment status. This tool can be accessed using the following link: DB101 Missouri - Calculators.
The attached press release announces the new employment tool for Missouri workers and job seekers with a disability.
NECESSARY ACTION:
- Review this memorandum with appropriate staff.
- Refer customers with disabilities to the DB101 Calculators when appropriate.
