- DISABLED (FMMX) SCREEN ENHANCEMENT
DISCUSSION:
Effective April 29, 2012, FAMIS recognizes active MO HealthNet for the Aged, Blind, and Disabled (MHABD) EUs and EU members as being disabled for the Food Stamp Program regardless of the code entered on the Disabled (FMMX) screen. Active MHABD individuals who are undergoing a medical redetermination can now be coded PMR – Pending Medical Review, on the Disabled (FMMX) screen without impacting the Food Stamp Program's determination of disability.
Staff should continue to enter the correct code on the Disabled (FMMX) screen and update the coding when the medical redetermination is completed.
This enhancement obsoletes the section entitled COMBINATION MHABD AND FOOD STAMPS in E-mail Memo #20 2012 entitled MO HealthNet for the Aged, Blind, and Disabled (MHABD) Cases Closing During Federal Poverty Level (FPL) Adjustments Due to Medical Review released April 6, 2012.
