DISCUSSION:
The purpose of this memorandum is to inform staff of the increase in the MO HealthNet Personal Needs Allowance (PNA) to $40 per month.
Effective January 1, 2013, the PNA is increased to $40. A mass adjustment to FAMIS Vendor and SNC cases will be completed the weekend of December 8, 2012 with the Cost of Living Adjustments.
FAMIS Vendor and SNC eligibility determinations for January 2013 and ongoing will use the new $40 PNA, and will use the previous PNA of $35 for December 2012 and prior quarter months.
NECESSARY ACTION:
- Review this memorandum with appropriate staff
- Begin using $40 PNA effective January 1, 2013.
