DISCUSSION:

This memo addresses the change in Food Stamp Manual section 1142.095.00 RETENTION OF RECORDS. Effective immediately case files containing claim records with zero balances may be stored at the warehouse with all other case files.

The case files containing zero balance claims are still required to be maintained for 3 years by the Family Support Division (FSD); however the location no longer needs to be the county office.
