DISCUSSION:
As part of the ongoing efforts to reduce the Food Stamp Payment Error rate, the following Food Stamp Manual sections have been updated to clarify policy:
- 1100.010.00 Definitions-the date of discovery definition is updated to include the date it is discovered an individual is eligible for restored benefits.
- 1102.005.05 Documentary Verification-recording the date the document was viewed and the content of the document as been removed.
- 1140.005.50 Address Changes-information regarding what to enter in ITrackRS is added to this section.
NECESSARY ACTION:
- Review these manual revisions with appropriate staff.
