DISCUSSION:
The average private pay nursing care rate is increased from $4,563 to $4,744. Use $4,744 to determine the number of months of ineligibility (penalty period) for vendor level services for applications taken on or after January 1, 2014.
The Average Private Pay rate in the Income Maintenance Manual section 1040.020.40 Determining the Penalty Period, is updated with the January 1, 2014 rate.
NECESSARY ACTION:
- Review this memorandum with appropriate staff.
- Use $4,744 as the average private pay rate effective for applications taken on or after January 1, 2014.
