DISCUSSION:
As part of the ongoing efforts to reduce the Food Stamp Payment Error rate, the referenced Food Stamp Manual sections have been updated to clarify policy. The policy regarding the work requirement for able bodied adults without dependents (ABAWD) has not changed.
Missouri currently has a statewide waiver from the ABAWD requirements.
NECESSARY ACTION:
- Review this memorandum with appropriate staff.
