- MISSOURI COURTS CASE.NET TO BE USED AS VERIFICATION OF DISCHARGED PROBATION FOR THE EXCEPTION FROM THE FOOD STAMP DRUG FELONY DISQUALIFICATION
DISCUSSION:
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide instructions for using the Missouri Courts-Case.net website for verification of drug conviction information and discharge from probation. The website aids in determining eligibility for the Food Stamp Program for those individuals who have felony drug convictions as staff can view the type and date of conviction and if probation has been discharged.
A discharged probation viewed on Case.net is verification the individual has complied with court and probation obligations. A discharged probation period occurs when the individual has complied with all of the probationary requirements and the probation is ended. Document the date and order of discharge of probation in the electronic case record.
A suspended probation period occurs when an individual has violated probation requirements. When probation is suspended, the individual may be incarcerated or sent to treatment. The probation period will usually resume once the individual is released. A suspended probation period is not verification that the individual has complied with court and probation obligations.
