DISCUSSION:
The purpose of this memorandum is to introduce a revision to the Food Stamp Manual. Policy at section 1102.015.55 Employment History (IMES) has been revised to allow FSD to pend applications for questionable information on income displayed on IMES. Previously the policy stated not to pend an application to verify income that a client claims to no longer have received in the month of application. Now, if it appears questionable to the worker whether income was received in the month of application, the verification can be requested and case rejected if verification is not provided.
