CHANGES TO MO HEALTHNET AND TEMPORARY ASSISTANCE ANNUAL REVIEWS GENERATED BY THE FAMILY ASSISTANCE MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM (FAMIS)

DISCUSSION:

The purpose of this memorandum is to introduce changes to the MO HealthNet Eligibility Review (FA402) form and the Temporary Assistance Eligibility Review (FA202) form generated by the Family Assistance Management Information System (FAMIS). Effective April 4, 2015, the following changes were made to the annual reviews:

MAILING DATE

The annual reviews are generated and mailed to MO HealthNet and Temporary Assistance participants on the first Saturday of the month two months before the due date of the review.

EXAMPLE: The MO HealthNet for Aged, Blind, and Disabled (MHABD) annual review is due in July 2015. FAMIS generates the FA402 on Saturday, May 2, 2015, with a due date of July 1, 2015.

COLOR OF PAPER

The annual reviews are now printed on yellow paper, making them easily identifiable to participants and to Family Support Division (FSD) staff when received.

ENVELOPE

The envelope used for mailing the FA and the FA402 now includes the Missouri state seal and “Time Sensitive” to alert participants to open the envelope and complete the review timely.
