- TEMPORARY ASSISTANCE WORK REQUIREMENT (COMPACT OR FM8B) SCREEN UPDATE
DISCUSSION:
The purpose of this memorandum is to inform staff of an update to the Temporary Assistance (TA) Work Requirement (COMPACT or FM8B) screen in FAMIS.
An additional code is now available for use in the Orientation/PRP field. This code, “OC – Orientation Complete” is used for those TA applicants that have viewed the Orientation but are not required to participate in work activities, and therefore do not need to complete a Personal Responsibility Plan (PRP) in order to receive TA.
Staff were previously instructed to use the code BC (Both Orientation and PRP complete) for these applicants until this change was completed. Effective immediately, “BC – Both Orientation and PRP Complete” should only be used for TA applicants that are required to participate in work activities, and have completed both the Orientation and PRP.
Below are the valid codes for the Orientation/PRP field:
BC BOTH ORIENTATION AND PRP COMPLETE
BI BOTH ORIENTATION AND PRP INCOMPLETE
OC ORIENTATION COMPLETE
OI ORIENTATION INCOMPLETE
PI PRP INCOMPLETE
