MEMORANDUM
IM-#41; 7/06/16
DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES FAMILY SUPPORT DIVISION PO BOX 2320 JEFFERSON CITY, MISSOURI
- TO:
- ALL FAMILY SUPPORT DIVISION OFFICES
- FROM:
- JULIE GIBSON, DIRECTOR
- SUBJECT:
- INTERVIEW SUMMARY (FA-102) PROCESS CHANGE
DISCUSSION:
What's Changing?
Effective 7/11/2016, FAMIS will not require FSD staff to print the Interview Summary (FA-102). A copy of the FA-102 will remain available in Document Queue (DOCQUE) after an interview is complete.
Why?
This change allows the FSD to save the expense of printing and mailing the FA-102 to all applicants.
FA-102 and the Food Stamp Program
Staff interviewing Food Stamp applicants in person must elect to have the FA-102 printed and signed by the applicant.
FA-102 and all other programs
The FA-102 must be printed and signed when processing a Food Stamp application in combination with all other programs. This change does not apply to Child Care, MoHeathNet for the Aged Blind and Disabled or the Temporary Assistance applications. Continue to follow the applicable program guidelines regardless of this programming change.
NECESSARY ACTION:
- Review this memorandum with appropriate staff.
- Do not print the FA-102 Interview Summary unless you are completing an in-person interview for Food Stamps
- Continue printing the FA-102 for Food Stamp combo cases
