DISCUSSION:
Effective immediately, all annuity contracts, including the application page, are to be sent as an attachment with the Request for Clearance (IM-14) through supervisory channels to Program and Policy for clearance. Submit the IM-14, with the subject line of “Policy Clearance-Annuity” to FSD.IM14@dss.mo.gov.
The Income Maintenance Manual has been updated to reflect this change.
NECESSARY ACTION:
- Review this memorandum with appropriate staff.
- No longer determine annuity considerations at a regional level.
- Submit IM-14s for annuity considerations to Program and Policy.
