DISCUSSION:
The Family MO HealthNet (MAGI) manual section 1805.040010.15.05 has been updated to clarify the case processing timeframes when participants claim good cause for failure to cooperate in establishing paternity or in establishing, modifying, or enforcing a medical support order regarding a child.
13 CSR 30-8.010 states that staff must determine within 20 days whether good cause for failure to cooperate exists. The 20 days may be extended for up to 45 days in case of difficulty in obtaining good cause verification.
