DISCUSSION:
This memorandum is to provide updates to the Missouri Work Assistance (MWA) policy for Service Providers section 0270.025.10. This policy was implemented on December 1, 2016 and MWA contractors were trained in November 2016.
Policy has been revised as follows:
- The exemption for a newborn child is now 12 weeks instead of 12 months
- The waiver/exclusion as temporarily disabled during 12 post-partum weeks has been updated.
NECESSARY ACTION:
- Review this memorandum with appropriate staff.
