DISCUSSION:
The purpose of this memorandum is to inform staff of changes to the CARS Discovery system for Temporary Employment Benefit (TEB) and TA Cash Diversion.
The CARS code sheet has been updated to include the new Program codes:
- 02- TEB
- 03- TA Diversion
The CARS code sheet also includes new Cause of Claim codes:
- 94- Duplicate of Issuance of TA and TEB
- 95- Not Meeting Required Work Hours
- 96- Exceeded Lifetime Limit
- 97- Failed to Meet Good Cause
- 98- Misrepresent Good Cause
A Claims User Guide for TEB and TA Cash Diversion has been added to the CARS User Guide section on the intranet.
CARS-5 Demand Letters for the Temporary Assistance (TA) program can be viewed and reprinted through Mobius from Report FCLD500292 and FCLD500293.
