DISCUSSION:
Clarification has been added to section 1840.010.00 ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS of the Family MO HealthNet (MAGI) manual. This section now states that:
A pregnant child (individual under age 19) must be determined ineligible for the non-CHIP group (MHK), CHIP 71 and 72, and the MO HealthNet for Pregnant Women (MPW) program prior to approval for Show Me Healthy Babies (SMHB) coverage.
Staff should refer to 1855.020.70 Ineligible for any other MO HealthNet Programs for more information on pregnant children who meet CHIP 73, 74, or 75 income standards.
