DISCUSSION:
The purpose of this memorandum is to announce that updates have been made to manual section 1860.000.00 NEWBORN – AUTOMATIC MO HEALTHNET ELIGIBILITY.
Updates include:
- Referral to Show-Me Healthy Babies (SMHB) manual section for coverage of newborn children under SMHB
- Identity of children ages birth up to but not including age 16
- 1860.010.15 Verification of Birth
- Acceptance of statement from parent or parent's representative
- Clarification of newborn’s effect on the eligibility of other household members
NECESSARY ACTION:
- Review this memorandum with appropriate staff.
