ACCESS TO QUIKWORKS PHOTO SYSTEM
 
DISCUSSION:
The QuikWorks photo system that is used to capture photos for the Benefit Security Card is updated.  Employee and foster parent identification (ID) photos will be captured using the QuikWorks system.  At this time, county Income Maintenance staff will not be taking the photo for the employee and foster parent ID cards.

The process for accessing the EBT application is changed.  Follow the steps provided to capture a photo for the Benefit Security Card.

  • The process for starting QuikWorks is the same.  Access the EBTU screen.  Press the F5 key to access photo information.

  • Click on the QuikWorks photo capture icon.

  • Select the "Production" menu.

    •  
  • Select the "Cards" option from the "Production" menu.   A window list with three link names appears.

  • Select the link name "ESDLINK".  The system for capturing a photo is the same from this point.
A revised camera operator's guide will be provided.  The guide will give instructions for taking and saving the photo.
The new software will be installed in stages by Data Processing personnel.  Cole, Boone, Callaway, and Moniteau Counties are piloting the new software.  Refer to the attached schedule for the date your county will receive the new software.  The night before your county is scheduled to receive the new software, shut down the computer with the QuikWorks system.  The computer needs to be rebooted the morning of the installation.
 
NECESSARY ACTION:
  • Discuss this memorandum with all appropriate staff.
  • Shut down the computer with the QuikWorks system the night before installation.
  • Begin using the revised camera operator's guide when the new QuikWorks software is installed.
