MONTHS OF ABAWD ELIGIBILITY FLYER
 
DISCUSSION:
Memorandum IM-#28 discusses the change in the number of months of eligibility for able-bodied adults without dependents (ABAWDs) age 18 to 50 who do not meet the work requirement and the action to be taken by the county office.  Attached to the hard copy of this memorandum is a flyer notifying able-bodied adults without dependents they may be eligible for benefits in two additional non-work months.  A supply of the flyer will be sent to all county offices.  Post the flyer in your office.  Distribute the flyer to community groups, local food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, etc. with which ABAWDs may have contact.
 
NECESSARY ACTION:
  • Post the attached flyer in your office.
