NOTIFICATION OF SUSPENDED FOOD STAMP BENEFITS
 
DISCUSSION:
Due to a county staff member's suggestion to the Vision Team at F051PAY, the "NOTIFICATION OF SUSPENDED FOOD STAMP BENEFITS" is updated.  A sentence is added to the first paragraph notifying participants of the amount of the suspended benefit.

This additional information is intended to eliminate confusion that may occur when participants receive notice of aged/suspended food stamp benefits.  The remainder of the notice is not changed.  Continue to respond to all inquiries regarding aged/suspended food stamp benefits.

 
NECESSARY ACTION:
  • Discuss this memorandum with all appropriate staff.

  •  
  • File a copy of the notification letter in the case record.

  •  
  • Assist participants who contact the county office with problems or questions regarding aged/suspended benefit notices.
