“Head Start Referrals” has been sent to each county office.
This report
lists Temporary Assistance children in your county ages birth to 5 years
who may be eligible to receive Head Start or Early Head Start services.
Head
Start for children ages 3-5 years, and Early Head Start for children ages
birth to 3 years, are comprehensive programs that support low income families
with services including child care, parent education and support, self
sufficiency,
health and mental health services.
When this list arrives in your county office, it should be sent to your local Head Start agency so they may start contacting these families for possible enrollment. If you have questions or did not receive your report, contact The Office of Early Childhood at (573) 522-1385. |
