Eligibility Guidelines for PQ are shown in MAGI manual section 1830.000.00 MO HealthNet for Kids (MHK) – Non-CHIP Coverage. Income eligibility for MHF, which must be met in each individual PQ month, is shown on Appendix A – MAGI Income With 5% of FPL Included and CHIP Premium Amounts.
Individuals may apply or reapply for PQ for up to one year after the application. They may apply for PQ in person, by telephone, or in writing.
Prior quarter months do not count as part of a child’s continuous eligibility period. Refer to 1805.070.00 Continuous Eligibility for Children (CEC).
